Towering cliffs with spectacular views - sandy beach stretching from Hollicombe Head to the small harbour packed with summer pleasure boats and Torbay's only Pier. Take a seasonal ferry ride from Paignton Quay to Torquay or try a steam train ride along this scenic coast from Paignton to Kingswear www.steamrailway.co.uk. where you can catch a ferry over to see the delights of Dartmouth.

Brixham

Life revolves around the busy picturesque fishing Harbour with a maze of multi-coloured cottages in the narrow streets behind. In the Harbour is moored a replica of the Golden Hind. Climb high above Brixham to Berry Head and see the remains of a Napoleonic Fort - here you can enjoy the outstanding panoramic coastal and sea views right across the entire Torbay coastline. St Mary's Bay is where you can find a secluded sand and shingle beach or walk out to Durl Head to enjoy the views over St Mary's Bay - nearest Blue flag beach is at Broadsands.
